Where were you ?

Dear Barbara,

PetPAC thanks the more than 200 members who came to the State Capitol today to fight against Senate Bill 250, authored by State Senator Dean Florez. This was a tremendous response but the fight has just begun.

SB 250 passed in the Senate Local Government Committee by a vote of 3 to 1. The supporters of this bill, including PETA, will pour money in to take away our rights as pet owners. We beat them last year by killing AB 1634, and with your help we can do it again.

Please contribute today so that PetPAC will have the tools to continue to fight for your rights.

Our next fight on SB 250 is in the Senate Appropriations Committee. Please send a message to the members of the Senate Appropriations Committee that SB 250, the mandatory sterilization and pet tax bill, will “KILL MORE PETS” according to analysis of similar legislation (AB 1634) by the California Department of Finance.

As the process moves forward, PetPAC will continue to keep you informed.
