Copper Hill Cuidado Con El Rojo of Marin    

this  is my sister's and brother  with our Grand pa dog's and my sister little dog

    Grand Pa work a sheep ranch and drove 2000 sheep from Montana to Yakima  Washington ,as kids we went up at different time to help out .and you  did not play with Grandpa dogs,  at less not when he was looking :)

19 years ago I got a Aussie from a lady name Debbie  and his name was Boots

I was looking for a Aussie and met a lady Named Debbie. she had some beautiful  pups, so I went over to see. well I came home with a pup and named him Boots after my Grandpa dog . Boots learned real fast he could round up my son and bring him to me . one day as I was at the Feed store to buy Hay and Grain, when I walked up to pay for my stuff , I had Boots with me  and there was this lady Crying. I asked if something was wrong and she began to tell her story of her Aussie who just passed away . he lived a great life of 15 years and was her daughters keeper. you see her daughter was born without a Jaw and she at this point had 26 surgeries already and was due for one more surgery. every time after she woke up she wanted to look out the window to see her dog in the parking lot and he would meet her when they brought her out of the hospital and now he was gone and she was so upset. see the story is about Boots .. in some way he looked like her old dog . I was taken by what she said, I asked her to bring her daughter to our home that night and to meet my dog. as a reminder she was to have one more surgery in 2 weeks

well I came home and waited for her family to come over. well one look at Boots and the girl's eyes lit up and Boots who was always at my feet or right next to my son went right over to the girl and got up on his feet and licked her face .. and I said to the girl he all yours

take him home and give him lots of love he will always be there for you .. I have always said that you do not pick the dog ,the dog  picks you !!!!!. it took me a long time to find the right Aussie again
